Key People’s online service is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. We want to provide a safe and secure user experience. We will ensure that the information you submit to us via our website remains private, and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

This document details the personally identifiable information Key People Limited gathers about you online, how we use it and why we need it.

Collection and Use

  • Key People collects personally identifiable information when you register to use our on-line services. The gathering of this information is essential to enable us to provide you with the necessary level of service. It is possible to use our on-line services without registering, however, the functionality and service we provide is greatly reduced.
  • When you register with Key People Limited we may (depending upon which service you register for) ask for one or more of the following fields: your name, email, address, date of birth, gender, education, skills and qualifications, employment history (including remuneration details), references, ethnic origins, criminal records, personal interests, job requirements (including location, salary sought, job industry, job title) plus any other information you may volunteer to us as part of the sign-up process.
  • Key People Limited also gathers your IP address, cookie (if set), the requested page and date/time of any transaction in our web server logs.
  • Key People Ltd uses the information it gathers about you for three purposes:
    • To provide you with the products and services you request
    • To contact you from time to time about special offers and new products/services
    • To improve our service levels by monitoring usages and behavioural patterns.

Job Alerts

  • To subscribe to job alerts emails, you will be required to provide your e-mail address, which will be used for the purpose of keeping you informed, by e-mail, of the latest jobs in your nominated industry and/or industry news via job alerts.
  • Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive this information, unsubscribe links are provided in every job alert email that you receive.

Curriculum vitae ('CV')
We give you the option of submitting your CV via this website. You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up. Although your CV will be stored online, it will only be accessible by Key People Ltd recruitment consultants. Your CV will also be e-mailed directly to our recruitment consultants who review your details and enter them onto our central in-house database. You can update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure to submit a new CV. Your old CV will automatically be replaced.

Sharing and Disclosure
Key People Ltd Limited does not share or rent your personal information with third parties unless:

  • You have specifically consented to allow us to share your personal information with third party organisations. or
  • You are seeking employment with a third-party organisation through the use of our services and for the purpose of evaluating your suitability the third-party organisation requests some or all of the information you have supplied us for this purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, the information we supply any third-party may only be used for the purpose for which it is supplied. or
  • We need to share your information in order to provide a product or service you have requested. or
  • We are required to do so by legal process or in response to a subpoena, court order or other legitimate request by an authority.

Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of data sent to your computer when browsing some web sites.
Currently, Key People Ltd. only use one type of cookie on this site and it is named "PHPSESSID". This non-persistent cookie is set ONLY when you log in to the "Candidate Services" section of the site and is used to store and remember your user preferences ("Edit Profile", "Jobs by Email Management" etc.) as you move through the section. This cookie is deleted as soon as you logout or close your browser.

Your Ability to edit your data
You have total freedom to login and amend any of your details at any time, including whether or not you want us to contact you in the future with special offers or news of new products and services.

Security

  • Key People Ltd protects your personal information using a unique password and login-id. It is your responsibility to safeguard your password and login-id. Do not share this information with anyone.
  • Where appropriate we may use industry standard SSL encryption for the protection of data transmission.

Changes to this Policy
Key People Ltd may modify the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a substantial or material change to the way in which we will use your personal data we will contact you by email and prominently post a web page on the Key People Ltd website detailing the changes.
